Cartoncare has bolstered its printing capabilities and is eyeing new customers after becoming the first UK company to invest in a Gallus KM 510 S packaging printer.

The Newry, Northern Ireland-based carton print and packaging specialist will take delivery of the machine later this year.

The 20-staff company opted for the Gallus kit after deciding it was the best platform to provide a raft of inline value-added processes such as cold foiling, screen printing and laminating.
 
Cartoncare was established 12 years ago and focuses mainly on the pharmaceutical, healthcare and food sectors.

Ralph Chalmers, chairman of Cartoncare said: "This is a very exciting time for the company and we look forward to adding the extra capacity of the Gallus to our existing reputation for excellent customer care."
