Ashgate rolls out KAS Crease Fold machine for Total Print! Expo

Finishing equipment distributor Ashgate has announced its line-up for October's Total Print! Expo, where it will showcase the new KAS Crease Fold machine.

Although the machine, which works in-line with the Crease Matic range of programmable card creasers, is the highlight of the event, Ashgate is taking the opportunity to show off a few more of its wares.

The company will showcase the Fastbind range of perfect binding, hardcover-making and photobook-making models, and, working alongside this range, Ashgate will exhibit the Surelampro 500 laminator and Ideal programmable guillotine.

Ashgate's kit will be producing a range of print-on-demand, perfect-bound and lay-flat books. The Casematic XT hardcover maker will also be producing personalised ring binders.

The Crease Matic range of programmable creasers include the CM150 model, which is stream-fed by hand, and the Auto50 SRA3 suction feed model, which is capable of up to 7,000sph.

The Kasfold Sprint 3000 Bookletmaker and Trimmer will also be on display, producing high-quality booklets at up to 1,500 per hour. The Sprint 3000 features the latest high-speed fold system, eliminating marking on digitally printed stocks.
